Privacy

Luckyverse keeps what the game needs to work and a small amount of first-party data to count visitors. Nothing is used for advertising, sold or shared.

Adults only, virtual coins only

Luckyverse is for players aged 18 and over. Coins and gems are virtual: they cannot be bought with real money, withdrawn or exchanged, and they have no cash value. There is no payment provider on this site, so we never receive card or bank details.

What the game stores

  • A guest cookie links this browser to your coins and progress, which are kept on our server. Clearing it starts a new guest.
  • Your game history on our server: spins, rewards, missions and prize-draw entries, so results can be checked and your balance is always correct.
  • An account, only if you create one: your display name, email address and a hashed password. We email you a code to confirm the address.
  • Small preferences in your browser: sound on or off, your auto play choice, and an invite code if a friend’s link brought you here.

How we count visitors

Visits are counted on our own server; there are no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. We do not store your IP address or your browser’s full identification string. Each visit is reduced to a code that changes every day, the page and where the link came from. When you play, your guest profile also notes the country of your network, the kind of device (phone, tablet or computer), its system and browser family, your language and time zone.

A device id to count you once

A daily code counts the same phone twice when it moves from Wi-Fi to mobile data, and each new guest account looks like a new person. To count people once, browsers outside Europe keep two things:

  • A random device id, kept in this browser’s local storage.
  • A one-way digest of device characteristics: screen size, time zone, languages, the graphics chip, and how the browser draws a short line of text and renders a short test tone (never played aloud). It is computed in your browser and cannot be turned back into those details.

Our server stores only keyed one-way digests of the id, of the device digest and of your network area. It never stores the id itself, your IP address or your browser string. If you clear the id, a visit from the same device and the same network within 30 days is treated as the same device.

What it is not used for

  • No advertising, no selling and no sharing with anyone.
  • No effect on game outcomes, coins, rewards, missions, prize draws or limits.
  • No profile of you outside Luckyverse; it only ties together visits to this site.

Where it is switched off

It is not used in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or when we cannot tell which country a visit comes from. It is also skipped when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. In all of these cases the browser does not create the id or compute anything, and visits are counted with the daily code only.

How long we keep it

Device records that have not been seen for 400 days are deleted. The network digests used to recognise a device after its id was cleared are deleted after 30 days. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes the id at once.

Questions

Use the feedback box in the game if you have a question about your data. Read how we think the game should be played on the responsible play page.

Frequently asked questions

Does the device id change my spins or rewards?

No. Every spin is drawn on our server the same way for every player, and coins, rewards, missions and prize draws never look at the device id. It is used for one thing only: counting visitors once.

How do I reset it?

Clear this site’s data in your browser settings. That removes the random id, and it also signs this browser out of its guest progress, so create a free account first if you want to keep your coins. A visit from the same device and the same home network within 30 days may still be counted as the same device.

I live in the EU or the UK. Is anything stored about my device?

No. In the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and wherever we cannot tell the country, the browser does not create the id or compute anything. Your visits are counted the anonymous way described above.
